Thaci: There will never be amnesty for those who committed crimes in Kosovo

The country's president, Hashim Thaci, has said there will never be amnesty for those who committed crimes against humanity in Kosovo, who have organised ethnic cleansing, who have killed over 15 thousand innocent civilians who committed over 400 massacres and violated over 20 thousand Albanian women. “After any conflict [...]

After any conflict that happens, it is not just the case of Kosovo and Serbia, possible amnestys have been discussed. There may be discussions in the form of the amnesty escalation of participants in the recent conflict, but one thing I want to explain that for those who committed crimes against humanity, have organised ethnic cleansing, have killed over 15,000 Albanian civilians in Kosovo, committed over 400 massacres against the Albanian population, violated over 20,000 Albanian women, under no circumstances will be amnesty. They must face justice, they must face it as soon as possible. So, for people who committed war crimes, crimes against humanity and organised ethnic cleansing, under no circumstances will there be amnesty”, Thac has said.
