Task Force Founded in Traffic Accident Prevention

Referring to the disturbing situation during this period regarding traffic accidents and their consequences in causing human life loss, on the basis of increasing the number of vehicles, including other members in traffic of all categories, Kosovo police have taken additional serious measures, with the goal of establishing [...]

Appeals, awareness campaigns, operational police actions, the approach of other relevant institutions that have role and influence in changing this situation into traffic demonstrate the need to create additional mechanisms to contribute to even greater security on our streets. And to that end the Kosovo Police have established “tak force” for preventing accidents in road traffic, Koha.net broadcasts.

The main purpose of this task force is to directly influence through command and control the prevention of road traffic accidents, employing as many police personnel from the central and local level as possible, including the leading police staff.

The operational and preventative plan of this “task force” envisions involvement, co-ordination and co-ordination of different units on the ground, control points, road axes, and application of various methods advanced by police units, for achieving the prevention of accidents in particular, with fatal consequences. Also, to achieve the dynamic of influence on drivers participating in traffic, “zero tolerance will apply to all counter-vectors”.

For a para-positive effect on these planned commitments and operational measures, Kosovo Police look to all participants in traffic, especially drivers/directors of vehicles, to respect the rules that emerge from the Law of Road Traffic, to respect traffic signs, to conform to road conditions and in particular to maintaining the speed allowed, since only in this way contribute to greater security on the streets of our country and avoid unnecessary loss of human life.
