A 4.2-magnitude earthquake on the Richter scale was recorded at 09.49 this morning in Yianina, according to the preliminary assessment of the National Observatory Institute of Athens.
At 09.54, meanwhile, there was a second quake of 3.5 on the Richter scale.
The focus of the first quakes was 12 miles [12 km] north of Rogottopus and 22 miles [22 km] northwest of Janina.
The depth of the earthquake is estimated at 5km.
