Serbian minister admits: No EU membership without agreement with Kosovo

European Integration Minister in Serbia Jadranka Joksimovic has stressed that without the final agreement between Pristina and Belgrade, the Serbian state will have no membership in the European Union.

She in an interview for Politicalo stressed the importance of continuing dialogue between the two states.

The EU negotiating framework is clear as to dialogue between Pristina and Belgrade: The legally binding agreement for normalisation of reports must be reached before membership. The agreements must be implemented. The association is important and we are still not seeing anything concrete from Pristina”, Joksimovic said.

According to him, the European Union has consistently stressed that Kosovo and Serbia must reach an agreement as soon as possible.
