Today, at the Senate Meeting of the University of Pristina, it has been decided positively for all candidates proposed by the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.
According to an O statement RCA, the average number of publications for a candidate at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering for a year and 5.5, which is five times the publication of their colleagues in Norway who in the same field has 0.96 scientific publications per professor. O The RCA has decided to offer the public a chance to judge whether these professors are geniuses or have exercised any activities that are incompatible with academic integrity.
Take it by O RCA, eight candidates have advanced to regular professors, contracting permanent contracts with Pristina University. From now on, these professors no longer owe their academic, scientific, and professional advance to the university.
These professors are:
Ahmet Shala (18 works in a year and a half)
) Azem Kikku (12 works in a year and a half)
Mirlind Bruci (10 works in a year)
) Naser Lajqi (10 works in a year and a half)
Nexhat Qehaja (9 works in a year and a half)
Rame Likaj (19 works in a year and a half)
Recep Selimaj (7 works in one and a half years)
Berisha (15 works in a year and a half)
Most of these professors work in three magazines. For these three magazines O The RCA has found that: they are misinforming their index, they mention indexing on long-defunct databases, they don't show their address, they're mising for the use of antiplagiarism software while it's easy to find plagiies from Wikipedia in their publications. Moreover, one of these magazines has the publisher listed as suspicious and with serious violations of Transparency Parations and the Practices of Mira for Scientific Editor.
However, Victor Marjan Dema and his so-called body “advisor” have recommended these professors for advancement. Rector Marjan Dema has even spoken of the recent Senate meeting as the rapid number of publications as a special phenomenon but has said they meet formal criteria. If so, O The RCA calls on the UPP and the Minister of Education not to spend money on the Senate, but that his jobs leave ORCA because such technical assessments can also make ORCA”, the organisation's media report said.
