The gatherings are not connected among themselves, while as organisers, civic movements that are little known for the opinion are announced, MIA's Athens correspondent announces.
In the Greek capital, in Syntagma Square in front of the Greek Parliament, at 18 local time, the movement for national protection calls for protests “and for Macedonia -- Alexander the Great” and “Scientific Commission on National Affairs”. They will protest, as they say, “forbid treason agreement”.
“Greece means Macedonia. All Greeks, united in front of the Sintagma Parliament, on Sunday, July 1st at 18. We will be there to protect our Greece, Macedonia, history, national sovereignty, Constitution and democracy”, organisers call on the video spot published on social networks.
For a day later, at 19 local times, rallying is scheduled in Thessaloniki and protest marches along the city's streets for the destruction of the agreement, which contains the term Macedonia of Skopje.
