From Berlin, according to this newspaper, it has been warned to send the new diplomat, Thomas Schild, instead of Axel Ditman. He comes from the mission at UN headquarters in New York. Russian Ambassador Cepurin will also be replaced by Bosan Harchenko, says the paper, excellent connoisseur of Balkan circumstances and Serbia's proven friend.
“Harchenko in Russian diplomacy is taken as an expert on solving problems, which Putin sends to countries where the West makes pressures. It has been Russia's representative to the Contact Group with US and EU diplomats, representatives in the mediating triangle for resolving the Kosovo issue, writes Novosatti.
“Novosti” stresses that Berlin and London are expected to send experienced career diplomats to Serbia, given that in the coming period the Kosovo issue and Serbia's membership in the European Union will be at the helm of the agenda (in photo, the next Russian ambassador to Belgrade, Bocan Harchenko).
