But for this concern the Kosovo Police have in response to Periscope, has assured that the module for controlling fines in traffic is in full accordance with the law on personal data protection, as well as all available data are encrypted according to standards for encryption of data.

Police through a communique say that through the official page it enables citizens access to traffic tickets.

The Kosovo Police's complete clarification:

Reference to numerous requests and increased presence of citizens at police stations to be informed about the number of unpaid countertakes or fines they can possess, Kosovo Police have launched the web-module published on the UN official website (Uskosovo police.com).

With the goal of solving this problem, Kosovo Police through internal mechanisms have provided an opportunity for unpaid tickets to be controlled, approaching the official Kosovo Police website, without having to appear at police stations.

The launch of this web-module as a testing phase began with the date 06.07.2018 on the site of the KB site, where the icons “Gyobat are installed in traffic" (as in the photo below), where following the click of the same and providing data as (personal number, name and surname), each citizen will have the opportunity to find the outstanding tickets, the number of the ticket, at which station are pronounced and how much they have value.

It is noteworthy that in the absence of a unified system of all institutions involved in this process that include: the pronunciation of fines by the KP, penalties/references by the justice organs and payments realized through the banking authorities, there is the possibility of showing any non-evidentation of payments in opinional time, carried out by citizens.

Kosovo police are constantly working on quality services, including updateing data in cases where citizens offer evidence on fines, with the aim of clearing them from the system.

As regards concern about protecting personal Web module data for controlling fines in traffic is in full accordance with the law on personal data protection, as well as all available data are encrypted according to standards for encryption of data.
