The election of the general director of the Kosovo Police has been turned into “bathe” of the ruling political subjects.
According to security affairs connoisseurs, but even according to some of the candidates for the post, the selection of the first police officer will take place according to the calculations of several political parties.
They call for the process of selecting the general director of the Kosovo Police to be correct, as they assess it is an important position, Zeri writes.
Former Kosovo Police General Director Reshat Maliqi, seven years after his dismissal again claims to come to the police helm. He claims he applied for this position, even though he doubts games are being made with this competition.
We have been informed that the competition has been cancelled and has been re-declared. The deadline has been until 16 July. I don't know the reasons for canceling the first competition because they didn't say anything. I wasn't sure if I was going to apply again, because I don't know what games are becoming”, Maliqi claimed.
He expresses his doubts that the police director's selection will take place on the basis of political recommendations, however, says there should be no procrastination in this process.
