I panicked: Serbia to Extinction as Nation

The number of children is smaller and smaller, Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq warned today during his visit to Alexinac's birth hospital.

Serbia, according to him, will disappear as a nation unless citizens change their awareness of it.

We have the biggest problem with the number of children born. Serbia and we as a people will not be able to survive unless we change something in our head”, Vuciq said.

He stressed that the state and the government of Serbia will continue to work on stimulating measures to raise the birth rate.

In his words, the biggest decline in the number of children born in Serbia is in Novi Pazar.
