“Today in the Darana municipality of Karacesa residents are complaining that KFOR has arbitrarily set the border line, leaving their properties in Serbia. Karaceva residents protest since 1999, when KFOR set that limit unfair. It is time for their complaints to be heard seriously and to take precautions”, Kurteshi wrote.
He compared this event to the situation in demarcation with Montenegro and Mitrovica.
Today, when four months were filled by unfair demarcation with Montenegro, and the wall separating Mitrovica is being built. Where are the Kosovo government when they have to defend our lands and borders? They've raised their salaries to themselves, they're dealing with tenders, they're starting to negotiate with Serbia, but when it comes to helping the people and protecting their homeland, government officials are hiding and dare not even speak”, he added.
He said that “if they continue this way, thanks to Kosovo's territory in Rugova, in the north, and now to the east, in Karaceva, they will really force us to join the people in the<x1 demonstration.
