Osmani urges referendum regarding final dialogue

Democratic League of Kosovo MP Vjosa Osmani, in the parliamentary debate on dialogue with Serbia, has said there are no politicians in Kosovo today who can sign agreements on territory or the issue that endanger Kosovo's internal functionality as a state, as only people can speak about it through the referendum.

Osmani said we are represented by someone who is violently compromising on behalf of Kosovo without being mandated by Kosovo.

According to her, Kosovo does not need people on the table negotiating Kosovo's fate and its political destiny under the table.

The “Since the issues that today are on the negotiating table do not affect technical issues, since they touch the very definition of the state of Kosovo, the character defined in the declaration of independence where the will of the people is expressed, there is no politician in Kosovo today, within this hall or outside that I can sign the agreement on the territory or the issue that puts Kosovo's internal functionality as a state, so that the people should be put to a referendum, so if someone is working for such crazy ideas, let him know that the piece of agreement, without a way to put it in its own place, and send it to its home as a souvenir, he said.

According to her, red lines already exist, the constitution has to be read.
