New Orleans: Shots fired at three dead people.

Police have reported that two armed men fired the crowd around 10:30, near the famous French neighborhood.

Three of the wounded were declared dead at the scene, and seven others were taken to local hospitals. The condition of the wounded is still unknown.

“There is no place in New Orleans for this type of violence”, said the town's head, LaToya Cantrell, on her official Twitter page.

I speak on behalf of everyone when I say we're tired and angry, and we've experienced more than we should have experienced”, she adds.

There is no additional information from police concerning suspects or the incident, writes The Reuters.
