According to a recent study by Professor Bamin Gopinath of the University of Sydney, orange flamingoids are said to be powerful antioxidants protecting the sight.
“Flavonoids are found in almost all fruits and vegetables. They have anti-inflammatory properties for the immune system. But for reasons we don't know yet, orange flamingoids are better for looking at apples”, Gopinath explains.
The study is fully published in the “The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition”.
