High official of NATO, in charge of Western Balkans and Russia, Robert Pszczel, has said the stance of NATO over the Kosovo and Crime issue is clear and does not change.
Psczel speaking to the Serbian newspaper “Blic”, estimated that “such subsidies are completely wrong”.
There is no similarity. It's about completely different situations. The Kosovo issue has been on international agendas for years, because we all know why NATO has acted, and it is important to know that many international organisations have reacted to events there, starting with the UN, and that resolutions have been issued and judgments taken from the International Tribunal”, Psczel said.
He said the Kosovo case absolutely does not have any similarities with the Crimea.
Until 2014 this part of Ukraine, which is still Ukraine's, because we don't know annexation, had no indication that the Crimea was in any situation, there was no complaint against the treatment of any ethnic group in Crime. The saddest thing about this is that there has been peace in Crime by then. So, actually, the comparison between Crime and Kosovo is incorrect, Pszczel said.
