Regarding the case of the death of fish in the course of the Mirusha River, in the Banja and Malisheva location in the direction of the town of Malisheva, we inform you that the Ministry of Environment and Space Planning, following the acceptance of water samples from the site of the Malisheva municipality's inspector, has tested the laboratory to verify whether the quality of water has affected the death of fish. According to the Kosovo Hydrometeorological Institute's report within the MMPH, it turns out that water has not been a factor in the death of fish on the Mirusha River in Malisheva”, the communiqué says.
Furthermore, it is said that in addition to the institute's analysis, the MMPH inspectors' team today has been on the ground along with municipal directors and inspectors, where in the Mirusha-Malishev River, they have not encountered any business operating or witnessing about the environmental accident on the Mirusha River.
To further verify the causes of fish deaths, following MMPH's request, the Food and Veterinary Agency will run tests to ascertain the cause of the death of fish. The MMPH will keep you informed about this case, and at the same time encourages citizens to co-operate with the bodies responsible for any information about the causes that may have caused the” phenomenon, the communiqué says.
