Popovski (1945-2018) began his journalistic career on Radio Skopje, where he worked as a volunteer from 1965, while from 1970 they also engage professionally there. From 1974 to 1992, it remains in Tanjug, first as a journalist, and then as Macedonian editorial chief in Tanjug.
Popovski has been an activist for CIVIL, the Centre for Freedom. He is the winner of the Macedonian Journalists' Association's Lifetime Award.
In 1992, it founded the independent Makfax news agency and was the commentator of the weekly Globus, the daily newspaper Free Press, as well as Macedonia's commentator for Al Yazira.
