Luka stands before Court, declared innocent for profit from “Jakova Innovation Center”

Currently, Economic Development Minister Valdrin Luka has been questioned in the judicial process, where he is accused of conflict of interest, along with former Secretary General of the Ministry of Trade and Industry, Eliana Naka. Luka, has denied that he or someone close to him had any benefit from the decision to subsidise NGO James Innovation [...]
Luka, has denied that he or someone close to him have benefited from the decision to subsidise NGO James Innovation Center.
Also, the other accused, Eliana Naka, has denied to have benefited from the decision to subsidise the NGO in question.
Both Luka and Naka had become part of the organisation with a decision by former minister Mimoza Kusari Lila.
After the last hearing in this case was held in December, the chairman of the court, Hamdi Ibrahimi, resumed the court examination until the indictment and the opening words were considered.
The two accused at the final session, again, have been declared innocent on charges against them, and also, reading the evidence and presenting new evidence.
