That's what Vetevendosje leader Albin Kurti said in an interview for Report TV.
According to Albin Kurti, Albania and Kosovo have much to do for the recovery of respective economies, while adding that national unity and European integration do not interfere.
Speaking to the Albanians of Macedonia, the VV leader said they decided to remain silent on the new name after choosing integration into NATO and the EU as soon as possible. While the situation in Kosovo, Albin Kurti, described the chaotic with a minority government, whose solution would be early elections.
Kurti said it is the right hand in the EU that has been invested in the idea that Balkan countries should first reform and then integrate.
Unfortunately, the right ones in the EU try to downplay the other right. As a result of right pressure on the EU, belief that we must reform and then integrate prevails.
We're on the continent of Europe, but it's deepening existing co-operation. There is a misunderstanding about the EU, they experience it very much as value and little as interest. With the structure that we have, we are very few on the European market. We need to restore our countries, and by building the EU within ourselves, because that's our interest.
Asked about political currentity in Kosovo and Haradinaj's governance, Kurti named a “minority government that has more parties than MPs”.
We have a minority government that cannot pass funding. The government has very little -- MPs -- more parties than MPs. There is evidence that nominal domination is lacking in Kosovo. It's important to have free elections, make way for development and progress.
Asked about the fee set on Nation Street, Kurti said the fee must be lifted to draw Albanians as close as possible.
I guess there shouldn't be a traffic tax like that. Oil is very expensive in Albania, paying the circulation tax is more than enough. We only have this coastline, we want it removed and the border on Morina, not double.
Kurti also spoke of joining Albania's Albanians with those of Kosovo. He said this idea is not separate from that of EU integration.
Joining Albanians is not my idea. We as VV have taken responsibility to revirus. The union of Albanians and the EU do not exclude each other. We don't have a common market, a common currency, or a common central bank. More than strategies are missing the will of political elites. I don't think we choose the national union as an option, but the national union chooses us.
