Insect stinging patients increase

The last few days in Kosovo have increased the number of citizens seeking assistance in medical centres following insect bites.

Basri Lenyan, director of the Emergency Clinic at ShSKKUK, said the number of insect bite patients has recently increased.

According to him, 50 people die in the United States and more than 30 in France. He suggested that most insects do not bring fatality. “Insect levels are not just a factor”, he said.
