Permissiond taxi drivers operating in Pristina guilty of this chaotic situation leaving the municipality.
Januz Rusinovac, who works as a taxi driver for nearly 30 years, says the Pristina municipality is not managing the taxist issue well in the capital.
Russia, which keeps his family busy as a taxi driver, along with the many obstacles it has from illegal taxi drivers, has other trouble continuing work permits every six months.
“prevents us from being covered, but mostly hinders buses from coming to lines and prevents us from managing well with the taxi drivers, has issued permission even without settlements for example, has given Kosovo's Obiliq, Ferizaj, Vuciterna and the Masney has driven the city with taxis with the company that has 10 permits, and has 30 squirrels and they don't control it, the municipality poses problems with the continuation of permits every 6 months, they have themselves invested in buses, but they don't control the 50-cents of the Sydney Coast of 2003, Russia said.
This other taxi driver has a shortage of taxis that have licenses.
Unlike Russia, Emin Bobaj works as an illegal taxi. He was unwilling to speak to the camera for Kosova Prees, has said that they did this job for two years, as he has no other choice in maintaining his family.
He says that in 2016, he applied to the Pristina municipality to obtain work permits but that the latter did not give him the license.
I've applied to give my taxi permission. I've been forced out to work in the black to support my family. I've been working for two years since 2016, working Fush-Kosovo-Pristina. The taxi drivers don't mind, we have double inspections, I paid for 60 euros. A job with me was immediately interrupted, I don't go out at”, Bobaj said.
Illegal taxis are not only causing tax drivers trouble with bus lines license. Even the Pristina municipality inspection is facing the many people working as illegal taxis and coming mainly from other Kosovo cities.
Alban Ymer, leader of the municipal ranking sector at the Instension Director near the Pristina municipality, indicated that the number of illegal taxis operating in the capital is unknown, but that only last year has been initiated by an estimated 1,000 judiciables.
In order to stop the circulation of these taxis that are not equipped with work licenses, Ymer said a co-ordination of shares with Kosovo Police and other municipal inspections is needed to prevent the work of these taxis.
“We are constantly on the ground and as much as we can because the number of inspectors is small and as an illegal taxi driver because of the large number of them need general co-ordination of the legal procedure as well as of such reform but also of the steps by police, inspections from municipalities around because we have most illegal taxis from the majority of the municipalities such as Fushe-Kosovo, Mitrovica, Vushtara, Podueva ...We need a co-ordination of joint shares in order to lower that number of them, and so the court is due to the number of these cases being thrown down, and despite all of the cases that are done by YMPHCHCHCHCHCHSCHCHS, YZCHCHCHCHOCHCHCHCHCHCHOCHCHD was also has been saying.
Linked to parking lot problem for licensed taxis, Ymer says they're trying to make choices.
“With the approval of the new regulation, the technical criteria for taxi permits are also provided, under which the location of these working permits will be introduced, and of course, the possibilities will be seen that within the permitted spaces a considerable number of the positions of these cabs” will be assigned, Ymer said.
Otherwise, in the municipality of Pristina with work permits, 700 persons who operate as taxi drivers are registered. /Periscopi/
