Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has congratulated the US state on the 242nd anniversary of Independence, remembering that the people of Kosovo are forever grateful to the United States for the irreplaceable assistance in realising the historic aspirations for freedom and independence.
“In the case of July 4th, Independence Day, the warmest wishes of the United States of America, the US Embassy in Pristina, Americans on missions in Kosovo and all KFOR peacekeepers in line of KFOR” were conveyed, Haradinaj wrote, past Kosova pris.
The first executive has added that Kosovo is proudly designated for an alliance and permanent friendship with the United States of America.
“Believers of the ideals of freedom and peace that are led by America in the world, today we celebrate, side by side with our friends”, Haradinaj concluded.
On July 4, 1776, delegates from 13 British colonies of America signed the Declaration of Independence, which was said to have been the cause of the American Revolution.
