Haradinaj meets British Army minister

Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj during his visit to London has met with Great Britain Armed Forces Minister Mark Lancaster.

Haradinaj in a Facebook post has said that with Minister Lancaster, he has discussed developments in Kosovo, asking for support in transforming KSF into the military.

During my official visit to London, today I met with Minister of State for the Armed Forces of Great Britain Mark Lancaster, whom I thanked for the continued cooperation and support of Great Britain in strengthening international subjectivity for Kosovo. With Minister Lancaster we talked about general political and security developments in Kosovo and beyond, as well as requested the support of Great Britain for the Kosovo Security Force and its transition process in the Kosovo Armed Forces. Reviewing opportunities for participation in peacekeeping operations within British military troops was also a topic of discussion. Excellent bilateral relations between our two countries will deepen even more in the future, and assured Minister Lancaster that Kosovo remains steadfast in its direction towards full membership in NATO and the EU.
