The damage is recorded in the vegetable sectors, the laundryman, the vinedresser, and the logger.
According to the Commission's assessment, the surfaces of agricultural lands aired by hail are over 2280 hectares and included these areas: Sapnic, Low Postoqa, Bellacrik, Xrxe, Geja, part of Radosta, Brnjak, Celine, Nagac, Little Hoça and Brestoc.
According to the report, the biggest damage from the hail has been caused in cadastral areas, such as Sopnqi, Potoqan the Low and Geja, the one of Bellacerka and Brnjak, spreading around to a lower degree, the percentage of damage caused in these areas has been up to 100% in some agricultural cultures.
In addition to hail damage, the rainfall that has continued for several days has affected the torrents of villages from their bed, and as a result many agricultural land has been flooded.
Since the Rahovez Community is known for growing grapes, this report shows that the value of damage done to the vine is over 1m euros. In the laundry sector, the two major cultures in wheat and corn have been created.
Agriculture Director in Rahovec Berat Duraku has announced to Kalxo.com that the same rating report has been given to Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj today during his visit to this municipality.
Haradinaj, meanwhile, promised Rahovec's farmers that he would speed up granting subsidies to farmers who have recently been damaged by the hail.
“Buykis and village farmers hit by hail assured them that they will not be left alone in coping with the cost of these damages”, the prime minister wrote on Facebook.
