Greece rejects Turkey's aid in extinguishing fires: No need, rain begins soon

Cavuşoğlu is on his first official visit to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus after taking office for the second time as Turkish Foreign Affairs Minister after the June 24th elections. In this case, at a joint media conference with Northern Cyprus President Mustafa Akıncı, the chief of Turkish diplomacy expressed his grief over the fire in Greece.
I want to express condolences to the people and government of Greece. This morning I made a phone call to Greece's Foreign Affairs Minister Nikos Kotzia, whom I comforted and showed we are ready for help. He then, conversing with the minister in question, said they do not immediately need such help and thanked me”.
Cavuşoğlu said Kotzia also told him that the rains would begin.
We told him again. We're ready. Our jets and helicopters are ready to be sent to Greece in case it needs”, Cavuşoğlu said.
