Nine independent agencies, including the Kosovo Privatisation Agency (AKP), will be removed from “. They will be passed on to the Government, and some sosh will be reproduced into existing ministries departments.
The data was declared in a government concept released on Monday, writes Koha Ditore today. It speaks of the first wave of rationalisation and the setting of accounting lines for these institutions.
The goal is designed to be achieved by affecting nine laws, and for each of the nine agencies, options have been developed on how to accommodate themselves under the umbrella of certain ministries.
Apart from the AKP, these are the other agencies that will change in structure or on the line of accountability from the Parliament to Government: System, Transmission and Market Operator (KOSTT); Kosovo Council for Cultural Heritage (KKTK); Independent Commission for Mine and Minerals (KPMM); Civil Aviation Authority (AAC); Justice Academy (AD); The Agency for Mnetric Management (AMKM); Agency for Comparison and Verification of Property (AKVP) and; Free Juridical Assistance Agency (ANJF).
In the region, Kosovo is the country with the largest number of agencies reporting to the Assembly. These are 33. The European Commission's report on Kosovo for 2018 has also addressed the problem of the number of agencies and, among other things, has asked for their revision.
