Everything was prepared: Almost a year after their expulsion, German supporters have wanted to welcome the Cekaj Albanian family back to Kirchbarkau with a welcoming holiday. But at the last minute, Mother and her four children were denied plane access to Montenegro.
The Albanian family, in Albania, had been deported in August 2017, despite a request to the Commission for serious cases. After mass protests, the Plön municipality had prevented the expulsion, but it was too late: The family was already on the plane. Since then, a circle of German supporters has fought for the return of the Albanian family.
He has organized a training contract for his father as an electrician and has provided a job for his mother. Cekaj now live again in their old apartment in Kirchbarkau (circinas Plön). Not forever, but definitely by the end of September they will be able to stay here.
