The chief of firemen has said this fire is the biggest ever in the country's history.
London's fire chief has even indicated that there is already a halt to barbecues in the courtyards after London has marked a record number of fires during this high - temperature period, quite unusual for Great Britain. After that extreme heat, however, Britain is expected to face storms and floods. Only today have some 900,000 lightning hit the whole country.
