Avdyl Lipovaci of the Diaspora Ministry on the “Rubikon” show that, according to Central Bank statistics, 1.1 billion euros are considered travel expenses that enter Kosovo.
“We can say that 1.1 billion are the expenses of trips entering Kosovo by exiles, coming to Kosovo at different periods during the year. The CEC has published all of its statistics, which we can say are rough and all of these are in consumption”, he said.
The main countries from which these remittances come are mainly the countries where the diaspora, such as Germany, are concentrated by Switzerland, the US, Austria, Italy, France, Sweden, Britain and Belgium.
