Opposition parties remain steadfast in their positions on dialogue with Serbia, rejecting it being led by President Hashim Thaci.
Although days earlier Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj confirmed there are moves by the LDK and the PSD on this issue, both parties continue to take the same stand.
After the meeting Haradinaj had with LDK leader Isa Mustafa, the LDK, according to parliamentary group chief Avdullah Hoti, continues to have the same position.
He said that at the meeting with Isa Mustaf, Prime Minister Haradinaj, the LDK's position regarding the negotiation process has become clear. The LDK's position, according to him, is to move as soon as possible to the elections, out of which legitimate institutions will arise.
The prime minister's “has made clear to the LDK's position regarding dialogue with Serbia. From principle The LDK stands as a party for dialogue. Because it's the only way to solve matters. But dialogue must be developed by institutions that are legitimate. At the moment, there are no legitimate institutions that can guide these important processes. So we have made it clear that as soon as we go to elections and produce legitimate institutions, it is better for the country”, he said.
Since it was LDK that initiated tables with political parties, reached consensus on matters of importance for the country, and set a date for new elections, Hoti said they would soon call the final table to conclude that no agreement has been reached among political parties, to get the country out of the institutional crisis.
I believe that we will soon call the final table, to conclude that there is actually no agreement between political forces, to get the country out of the institutional crisis we are in, he said.
The prime minister's statements that there are positive signs and the PSD, in terms of the dialogue process with Serbia, led by President Thaci, denies and deputy Fraser Krasniqi.
He says attitude The PSD remains to lead the dialogue to the Parliament, which must mandate someone who gets 2/3 of the deputies' votes and that person to be a representative in the dialogue. But before that is decided, Krasniqi stressed that a state platform for negotiations must be set.
I don't actually know what the prime minister allied and what he thought with these signs. But attitude The PSD has been that dialogue should lead the Parliament. So I have to mandate the Parliament and before they decide the leader, they need to talk about the platform Kosovo is going to dialogue with. Because it doesn't matter who's leading him at all. It matters what platform you run. And it is clear that Hashim Thaci is the most harmful person in terms of dialogue with Serbia in the last ten years. So we can't represent that man anymore and we can't trust the man who will conduct negotiations in the interest of Kosovo. I don't know what the prime minister saw. All that he has invited The PSD, it has been to deal with our platform for negotiations as a state and Parliament to take over the dialogue process”, Krasniqi said.
MP The PDK says the coalition is unique in terms of its dialogue and leadership by President Thaci. He says the coalition is unique in all processes, which are important to the country and there are no differences in attitudes and content. While believing that the LDK, as in all processes, will be an active part of dialogue with Serbia.
“We know that the LDK has been part of all commitments, as far as independence and the state of Kosovo's construction is concerned. We know there are different positions inside the LDK now, but I finally believe that the LDK will be an active part of dialogue with Serbia”, he said.
As for the party Social Democrat Initiative, which has declared it does not support Thaci as chief negotiator, Recica says these are still not final statements and are under discussion.
