Bekim Haxhiu shows why he nominated Bekim Jashari as chief negotiator for talks with Serbia

Kosovo Assembly MP from the PDK ranks Bekim Haxhiu considers opposition parties opposing President Hashim Thaci as chief negotiator in the final phase of dialogue with Serbia, with the sole goal of going to early parliamentary elections. And for that reason, Haxhiu says he has nominated Skyright Chairman Bekim Jashari as the representative of the negotiating group, though he denies this and received his consent. However, he is convinced that chairman Jashar would respond positively to the request of political subjects to lead dialogue with Serbia if a consensus between position and opposition was achieved.
“I think it's a test for parliamentary political parties, in particular for opposition ones who oppose President Thaci, oppose Prime Minister Haradinaj and the Prime Minister of Parliament, so that another option means Bekim Jashar, because the Jashar family has unified us in the most difficult days and if they are for unity that even a name, but that during the discussions in parliament, it was seen that opposition political parties have no intention of reaching the next phase of talks with Serbia, but that they have gone to the elections using dialogue as a pretext. The proposal has come to the Assembly, viewing the political parties' discours. We are not only deputies to mourn for everything but also to give ideas. But if political parties are ready, I believe Mr. Bekim Jashari will be willing to accept a request coming from political parties”, Haxhi said in a pronomation for “Gazeta Blic”.
Asked about the outcome that early elections would produce and if The PDK would support any initiative to overthrow the government “Haradinaj”, MP Haxhiu denies such a thing by saying going to the polls is “time loss”.
He was also declared regarding the idea of exchange of territory that could be opened as a new topic of discussion in the final phase of dialogue with Serbia, saying the border issue is a closed topic for the Balkans, though he claims that on the topic of division of territories between Kosovo and Serbia should be reached at a new stage of talks.
