On the other hand, Bata has asked Kosovo police to revote such a permit and to take measures not to allow the throwing of these fireworks.
Here's her full reaction:
Reaction to warning of throwing fireworks at University Campus!
I as Community Adviser in the Pristina Parliament, express my concern about warning of throwing fireworks under a concert that will be held today within the space of the University Campus.
I request responsibility from the municipality and the Kosovo Police if they have given permission to throw these fireworks into a green and habitable space.
This action is dangerous and harmful to the capital, which has only severe pollution problems.
Moreover, I remember these responsible institutions that such a permit conflicts with the eight recommendations voted on February 1st of this year at the Pristina Municipal Assembly to improve air quality in the Pristina municipality and with the voted Resolution as well as February 1st 2018 in the Kosovo Assembly, which requires the environment to be a priority for the Government of Kosovo.
I request from the Kosovo police that such permission be revoted and measures not allowed to launch these fireworks.
