Macedonia's “Albanians do not need more than two political parties. I say it with the highest responsibility, because the existence of two and more political parties in Macedonia harm Albanians, becomes irrelevant Albanians. Political parties do not turn as a contest to make daily marketing, rather than being patriotic and national. The existence of more than two political parties is at the expense of Albanians in the Republic of Macedonia”, Ahmeti stressed.
According to him, in recent parliamentary elections Albanians have lost 10 mandates, the DUI has not lost.
There was no one to win the mandate, that is. The Albanians in the mandate we left behind had 28 mandates, today we have 20 mandates and we should actually have 30 mandates, we have 20 mandates from six political parties that participated in the race. This is a bad practice. The same practice has been installed in Montenegro and the Presevo Valley. Albanians in neither Montenegro nor the Presevo Valley need to have 9 political parties. But that is the will of various people who find supporters and it is not hard to make a political party”, the DUI leader stressed.
