Today, starting at 2: 00 p.m., the Kosovo Journalists' Association will hold the extraordinary assembly for the election of board chairman and members of the AGK board.
The Kosovo Journalists' Association encourages, as well as welcomes the running of any journalist / journalist who has will, vision and dedication to work and contribute to the benefit of the organisation and community of journalists.
A few days ago, the Kosovo Journalists' Association Board made up of: Arsim Halili, Beadin Syla, Besiana Krasniqi, Dardan Hoti, Fidan Rama, Majlinda Aliu, Taulant Qaj, Valdrin Krasniqi had unanimously resigned to pave the way for the extraordinary AGK general elections.
“Option of the resignation is made in order to create preconditions for ensuring the three-year term of AGK chairman and avoidance of the situation for repeat elections after 9 months for chairman and board members, provided under the regular” calendar, the report said.
