“Set up newly elected AAK members, about 40 percent are elected for the first time. And about 40 percent are women”, says an announcement issued by the AAK
The head of the AAK -- at the same time the country's prime minister, Ramush Haradinaj -- has said that the party's goal is to increase support for the AAK, support of the government at the central and local level, as well as extending party structures to all levels and areas.
“At this meeting was also praised as the contribution of the Old Headship, which managed to turn the AAK into the party of the prime minister and the party which today has 7 municipalities and co-governance in 10 other municipalities, thus becoming among the most serious parties in the country”, the AAKA report said.
The new AAK structures, the announcement suggests, “pledged to work in meeting state agendas and in the continued AAK growth as an intensible value of Kosovo's political spectrum. The new AAK chairmanship has a four-year term”.
