Firefighters reported more than 100 people injured.
Greece's Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras suspended his visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina to return to Athens, while seeking assistance from the European Army and Union.
The area covered by flames is forested and filled with holiday homes.
