Kosovo Parliament Speaker Kadri Veselini has said there are positive movements even in EU countries, which do not recognise Kosovo as far as the issue of visa liberalisation is concerned for Kosovo.
He has spoken Wednesday in RTK, where he has stopped standing in France and of meetings he has held with MEPs.
There are positive moves. There are five countries that have not recognised the state. We have met a colleague from Romania, a state that has not recognised Kosovo, and I thank him for his correct stance on visa liberalisation”, Veselin said.
Wessel has said he has received support in the European Parliament in terms of visa liberalisation.
I am very sure that visa liberalisation as far as it depends on the European Parliament will happen. He has a very positive attitude. I have assured all my colleagues that Kosovars will receive visa liberalisation and at the same time will be very correct with their stay in the EU”, he has said.
Wessel has shown that he will remain in Paris after Strasbourg.
I'll be in Paris after Strasbourg. We'll continue in this way so that what needs to happen will happen. Kosovo is a European country, Kosovo is making progress every day, Kosovo needs more recognition within the EU. Kosovo is not a refugee country”, Vessel has said.
