Citizens of Serbia will soon be able to see how powerful we have stretched out, the stronger and the better than they do, Serbia's President Aleksandar Vuciq has said today by visiting a military school, broadcasting Koha.net.
As of the beginning of the year, we will have the most powerful army in the region, Vuciq said, conveying public, Serbian social television.
He has added that Serbia now invests heavily in its military. According to him, over the past three years the budget has been more than 650m euros annually.
“We now invest much more, our military budget is no more 650m euros, but much more, because we from other sources share an additional 350m euros, so you estimate that our military budget is 1 billion or more than 1 billion euros per year”, Vuciq said.
At the beginning of next year, we'll have 14 more modern MIG aircraft from the fourth generation, fourth generation warplanes, H- 145 helicopters purchased by Germany and France, etc.
