Speaking during the launch of a oil and gas exploration ship in the Mediterranean on Thursday, Turkish Energy Minister Berat Albayrak praised the credibility of the Turkish electorate.

Albayrak, who is also the son-in-law of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, first explained the successes of the Justice and Development Party government (AKP) in terms of construction projects.

Some people talk, others do. As the AKP in Turkey, we have always been on the side of those who do”, Albayrak said.

Once, when we talked to our voters, one of them said I swear, we trust him. The AKP's as much as, Mr. Minister, if the president comes out and says: “I'm going to build a four-track road on the moon, I swear we'd believe him”, the Turkish minister said.
The minister added that this is what the AKP has accomplished with its work and actions.

columnist Levent ãozeren was among those in the social media who responded to the statement.
“in June 2015, (AKP delegation), Burhan Kuzu, said we have stolen, AKP voters will not believe it. In June 2018, the groom Berat said: “if Erdogan says he will build a four-lane moon road, AKP voters will trust him”, ♫zeren said.

This means that for three years, nothing has changed for AKP voters! They're being treated like fools and they don't answer! ”
