Eight people have suffered bodily injuries from fighting between demonstrations and police groups. Greek media write that the situation continues to be tense. The village area of Psarades is surrounded by increased police forces, while roads leading towards Prespa on Greece's side are completely blocked.
Because of security at the scene of the protests, women and children have been evacuated, while as a result of protests some journalists have reported on today's ceremony have remained blocked in that country. According to Greek media about 80 buses from Thessaloniki and other northern Greece cities with citizens have attached to the protests in Psarades.
