But what does science say?
In the morning you have to wash when you're stressed out or you have to be creative. So experts caution: You can continue to follow your routine, but the advice is a shower in the evening. A group of experts from Harvard answered that question. They say that washing one's face and body at night contributes to skin health, especially in summer and spring. During the day, if you stay outside, sweat and a shower in the evening before you can relax and get a good night's sleep. Remember, though, that the shower is 90 minutes before you sleep. The shower at night also helps you with insomnia, as it lowers stress - related levels of cortisol.
