Reporter Laurel Irving and cameraman Jimmy Cannon, in Exmouth, Islington, before recording the Greenfell segment, are surprised by two thieves.

One of the bandits, Canon, had threatened him with a gun, forcing him to turn in the 15,000-pound camera, Periscope broadcast.

We were scared and upset. As soon as I caught the camera, Jimmy turned to “he's got a gun”, so I went to the burglars “show me the gun”, and I realized I was in a dangerous situation, and so I handed in the camera”, said reporter Irving.

Laurel Irving and her cameraman Jimmy Canon had just finished a live crop from Islington, in London's nowhere, when they were tested by two men on businesses

Footage from a car drecam shows Mr Canon being tested by a man based in black bars and a mask as he is filming a pre-record piece with Ms. Irving. He is threatened with a weapon and signs the camera to hang over to the gray after he 'calm told him to hand it over because he had a gun'

Ms. Irving is trying to intervene as she carried the camera and said 'see me the gun' to the slave before realising the danger and giving up

Ms. Irving follows the gray and takes a picture of him moving away. She told MailOnline she feels the crime fall in London and the brand faces who 'own they can get away with it'

Mr Cannon's car drecam also captured the signaling moment the clouds rode up to the scene built all in black, painted

Both Mr Cannon and Ms. Irving told MailOnline they were not confidential they would get the camera back but accepted police for their quirk request

The journalist, painted in Rio ducing the 2016 Olympics, said she tried to write the camera back only to be telling the gray 'had a gun'
