Kosovo police today took action to free a female who was being held in a building without her will and under gun threat in Pristina.
Kosovo police through a conference held for the media have indicated it was the quick reaction of the central police units, which has enabled it to achieve the release of the victim as well as the arrest of the suspected person.
“Today around 9:00 p.m. we've received information from the complainer that on the way from Bajram Kelmendiı in Pristina, exactly one apartment is being held by a suspected gunman. It was a quick response to the central station police units, which have enabled the victim's release as well as the arrest of the suspected person”, he said at the media conference.
It is also stressed that the person arrested in the case is A. M, 45, Kosovo citizen.
At the scene, it has also become the seizure of a C.Z.-type, 7.65m calibre pistol, 7 rounds and a quantity of suspected narcotics substance, which is suspected to be cocaine.
The victim has also been offered needed medical assistance.
“According to the medical team it is in good health, while the suspected person will be taken in the necessary police actions, conform legal authorisations, in co-operation with the state prosecutor”, is said away by Kosovo Police.
