Kosovo President Hashim Thaci's statement that dialogue with Serbia will continue without red lines has sparked harsh reactions on the part of opposition and civil society. Opposition party representatives consider that the final phase of the dialogue should in no form proceed without red lines.
According to them, such a statement by the head of state is extremely scandalous and at the expense of the Republic of Kosovo, so as they say, no agreement will be reached by Thaci, separately ignoring red lines, will be acceptable and valid for the state of Kosovo.
On the other hand, two days ago the former prime minister, who is now the leader of the final phase of negotiations with Serbia, as he announced there will be no red lines in this process, said that only topics agreed on will be expounded there.
But civil society representatives, who have been constantly monitoring this process, estimate that Kosovo as a red line not to discuss with Serbia should have its territorial integrity, unitary operating system and representation as an equal state in the international arena.
