Today, Agriculture and Forestry Directorate Director Burim Bajrami has held a meeting with HIB Petrol representative Astrit Sahiti, with whom he has discussed the possibility of this company offering facilities, or cheaper price for litres in oil derivatives for ferrazas farmers.
HIB Representative Petrol, Astrit Sahiti, according to the Ferizaj municipality's announcement, confirmed that this company is willing to offer facilities with the aim of helping farm farmers.
On the other hand, Agriculture Directorate Director Burim Bajrami said such an agreement is taking place for the first time in the Ferizaj municipality, and that this ease will empower local farmers.
Ferizaj's “communation for the first time is undertaking such an agreement to reduce the farmers' expenses of ferizaya. With HIB Petrol's representative, we agreed that for ferizaya farmers, there will be a 5 cents drop in litres of oil derivatives at any point where this company operates. It is a concrete step in improving conditions and providing opportunity for the ferizaya farmers. This initiative and others of this nature are within the policies of local governance, with the inadequate support of the Mayor Agim Aliu, to strengthen agriculture and rural development on Ferizaj's territory. I thank the biggest taxpayer in Kosovo, the HIB Petrol company, who not only on this occasion but in other cases has been found near the citizens of ferzajaja, already the farmers ferizjas” said director Bajrami.
This initiative is in the wake of the farmers' demands and complaints about the cost of their expenses. The next few days will also be launched this project, which will enable all farmers through the NIF (the farmer's identification number) to supply 5 cents cheaper in litres than market prices. This initiative presents concrete steps within local governance policies for the empowering of agriculture, a relief that will affect lower spending, resulting in increased agricultural productivity.
