Netherlands blocks opening negotiations with Albania

According to “De Telegrain”, only D66 and GroenLinks agree to open negotiations with Albania and Macedonia. The parties, which believe the two Balkan states will better care for rule of law, access to crime and the fight against corruption if they have a clear prospect of accession.
“Negotiations do not mean they can join,” has declared D66 MP Verheven, adding that the move is not at all hasty.
