The refusal to finance the campaign, in which Milaim Zeka was claiming to be elected Kosovo's Parliamentary MP in the 2016 parliamentary elections, caused by Ilir Krasniqi, leading to the conflicts of two partners Milaim Zeka and Ilir Krasniqi.
Krasniqi, in an interview for KTV, after several months of stay in custody, with suspicions that he and Initiative MP Milaim Zeka had deceived over 900 visa citizens, says that following the disputes he had with his partner, Milaim Zeka, he was called for interview by Kosovo Police, KTV reports.
Krasniqi says that so far, he has returned about 186 thousand euros to applicants who had received the money in exchange for visas.
But, it says, applicants are still threatening him and his family to return other means.
Krasniqi says confiscating his passport and investigations into him has prevented him from seeing his family and wife, who is now suffering from cancer.
However, Milaim Zeka's lawyer, Gazmend Halilaj, says his client never needed a campaign, and that there is enough evidence that shows about Zeka's innocence.
KTV has been seeking answers from the State Prosecutor for the case for a month and also Ilir Krasniqi's claims, but the prosecution has not provided any answers.
Initiative MP Milaim Zeka and Ilir Krasniqi were arrested and, respectively, detained by Kosovo Police on suspicion that they were involved in a visa fraud scheme in Germany, misleading 920 citizens through the employment agency.
