The village of Dobercan is considered the cleanest village in Kosovo. The overwhelming part of its inhabitants live abroad, but they are organised and in addition to having implemented many projects have made their village an example of order and cleanliness.
Appeals to preserving purity are not limited to the citizens of Dobercan.
Their maintenance and care for the environment are evident in all the streets of this village.
The mobilization of this community is based abroad.
The Cyril-based Association “>17 February” founded by the citizens of Dobercan living abroad is what finances the projects making this young man in this village, RTK reports.
The village of about four thousand people takes care of the health centre, the Cultural Centre, parks and village cleanliness itself.
This situation was different before volunteer mobilization began there.
Dobercan is known as one of the cleanest villages in Kosovo.
