The new AKI director, Shpend Maximi, has reported for the first time after taking office, before the Commission for AKI Supervisor.
After the meeting, the first deputy chairman of this commission, Ganimete Musliu, said that at this meeting they are informed of the security situation in the country, which she said is calm.
As for the north, he said the same problems continue further in this part, challenging the security and overall state of our state.
While asking about reporting the AKI director to the commission, regarding the expulsion of Turkish citizens, Musliu did not comment on the issue. She said a parliamentary investigative commission was established, and until the epilogue that that commission will give it, it cannot say anything about the case in question.
Commenting on Maxhun's appointment at the helm of AKI, as he was during the expulsion of Turks from Kosovo to the top of the police, Musliu said his appointment was not made illegal, since in terms of the case in question, his dismissal has not been required from the post of first police.
Musliu thinks this was a creditable choice, offering an experience and a commitment he had in the past. Musliu believes that AKI is in proper management.
