Massive increases in tick bites, the Institute of Health gives some recommendations

The largest number of stings is from the Malisheva municipality 538 cases, Suhareka 446 cases, Kline 249 cases, Rahoveci 123 cases and other municipalities with smaller numbers of cases.

Compared to the same period of previous years, a slight increase in bites has been reported.

The first positive case at the Ethe Hemorragic Crimea Congo in the village of Bresalz, the municipality of Gjilan, hospitalised at the USKKU Infectious Clinic, has been treated successfully and released home.

A total of 22 samples have been tested in the Department of Microbiology (by suspicious persons at the Crimean Ethe Hemorgic, which have resulted negative.

The epidemiological situation with the EHKK is in full control and permanent surveillance by the National Public Health Institute, which implements the strategy for preventing and combating the EHKK of the Interministerial Council for combating the EHKK.

Epidemiologists of the National Institute of Health of Kosovo continue to carefully convey the epidemiological performance in Kosovo.

Kosovo's National Institute of Public Health is consistently conveying the epidemiological situation with Crime-Congo Ethet Hemotrics in all cases of infection, and along with doctors and health workers at the Main Centres of Family Medicine in Malisheva, Rahovec, Kline, Suhareka, Gjakova are overseeing and researching all the locations, including the wandering centres in neighbouring municipalities -- Lipjan, Drenas, Drenaj, Skenderaj, Prizren, Dragas.

After presenting the first case in the village of Bresalz in Gjilan, Regional Institute teams in Gjilan have already visited the patient's family and are devotedly monitoring the terrain and the epidemiological situation.

Given that since 2013 no fatal case has been marked with the EHKK after we have successfully carried out the profile and counterepidemic measures, we must continue to implement activities on the ground because we are dealing with a wandering, deadly disease and the presence of ticks in the cosmic hearths carrying the EHKK virus.

Although the risk of hemorrhagic fever is smaller than in the past years, citizens are appealed to keep on taking care of ticks, especially in the winding areas, since temperatures have already begun to rise and ticks have begun to surface.

National Institute labs are prepared and ready to diagnose all suspicious cases in the EHKK.

National Institute recommends citizens this year:

Don't be long and needy in the meadows, and in the bush;
If you must be present at these places wearing long clothes and your trousers in your socks,
You need to use preparates that we paint body parts that drive insects out of the human body, and especially in body - discovered parts, (olds, neck),
Check your body. Don't have any matches while you're in the hearth.
Look again upon the body after it departeth from the meadow, or through the bush;
If you have grown stiff, offer yourself to the nearest medical center as soon as possible and do not press them!
Let the heat of the grass be done continually, (for the heavens and the meadows),
Cleaning and disinfecting the stables becomes ongoing,
Keeping personal hygiene at the highest level,
The National Institute appealed to citizens that they should work on the factors of improving the ecosystem that mean:

Work all the hard land.
Cut all the meadows over time and sometimes,
To purify themselves of gardens and houses.
Let the farms be cleansed where the cattle are kept, and let the cattle depart from the beast's body;
Take care of all farmers and their family members who work in the field, where they will never be allowed to leave their bare feet bare
Children are not allowed to play in unassuming meadows and gardens, and in the evening the presence of ticks throughout the body is checked.
